Yahusha - or Jesus?

It's never been popular for most people to do personal research into what they have been taught, since most coast through their lives without questioning their traditions or those that taught them. A fellow believer has accused me of doing the work of Satan through the promotion of the Hebraic Roots, at this blog:

Lighting The Way Worldwide: Satanism and the Hebrew Roots Movement
(Author: Dwayna, Email dwayna@ltwinternational.org )

I invite Dwayna, or anyone else, to look into the true Hebrew Name of the Messiah of Israel, and make the research at least deep enough to be able to spell His Name in the original Hebrew letters. Although "Greek" is not the language of origin for the Name Yahusha, a good place to begin the research would be to compare the Greek spelling of the two names "Joshua" and "Jesus" as seen in the Greek texts at Hebrews 4 and Acts 7.

Upon ascertaining that these two had the same Greek letters IESOUS, it is an easy leap to then go to the Hebrew and find how the term "Joshua" is spelled in the original Hebrew. If you find it to be different than the following, let me know; YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-AYIN.

After you have performed this much research, we can then discuss the findings.

Do you happen to know why there are two different spellings provided for the name 'Joshua'- one ending "uau-shin-ayin" and then "uau-shin-uau-ayin" in Scripture?
Was 'Yahushua' maybe just a long form of 'Yahusha' or a "formal" pronunciation back in the day?

Also, which way is the Messiah's Name spelled in the surviving Hebrew "New Testament" texts?

The "shua" sound may have been merely added to the texts (as it only appears twice on the Hebrew texts this way) by the transcribers, in an attempt to uphold the "Yashua" pronunciation for the successor of Moshe. Be that at it may it is still in the scripture this way, and "Yahushua" is still (to me) a viable form of the Name because of that (though I have chosen to use the more frequent form, "Yahusha".

there is no doubt that the hebrew roots are the key to understanding the scriptures today.brother lew, i hope you will keep doing your research because i'm keeping going with mine. i'm sure we can uncover the correct pronunciation of the name if we just apply ourselves

Sadly, the LTW Movement of dwayna along with the indoctrination of the Southern Baptist, which I was once Spiritually drunk under, does not understand the sa.t.a.nic roots of modern churchanity, born from the council of Nicea; nor are they familar with the Writings of the Prophets, such as Isaiah 29:9-11; all of Jeremiah & his contemporary, Rabbi Paul. It is amazing how those who are under the influence of churchanity are constantly searching for loopholes when it comes to obedience.

I also noticed that they tried to shame you using Sa.t.a.nic writings! Praise Yahweh that Scripture supports what you teach: for there is no shame when we follow His Ways in these days of the Restoration of His Name, His Shabbat, His Feasts & the identity of the 2 Houses of Yisrael.

I always feel so bad for people who don't understand the context of what we are saying. I know Dwayna means well, and thinks she is protecting the flock. It is so unfortunate.

I have to lean on the scripture that mentions those who teach to break the least of the commandments will be the least in the kingdom of heaven. Is His mercy so great, that even those who teach falsely can enter the kingdom of heaven, albeit at a lesser inheritance? If so that gives me a little peace.

It took me 5 years to get my wife to keep Shabbat. We just told the rest of the family last year that we would no longer participate in pagan holidays. I have great joy in knowing my immediate family will be follwing the way, and great sorrow for those who are blinded.

YHWH save us.

shalom,i think dwayna is a deceiver.she uses inuendo and no true Word for her position. she promotes the writings of david ovason as a good book.his bio says that he is an astrology teacher? the intimidation and manipulation seems like what my previous pastor used on the unruly, with a little fear thrown in for good measure. i do not intend this to sound harsh ,and i hope father shows her favor for freedom. in YAHUSHA,talmadge

Hey Lew,

I have posted some stuff about the Name Yahu-Shuah @:
http://thetexasrat.webstarts.com/iau_iaue.html

Keep in mind that I am going to redo the part that ssumes that the first three letters are vowels and the Name instead of Iau-Shuah will be Yahu-Shuah. I beleive once you have read the stuff poste you should agree that you at least left out the English letter "U" after the "Sh" and befor the last "a". I add the last "h" for clarity.

Let me know what you think.

To ask the question Yahusha or Jesus? is like asking the question Joe or Jose? If you are in an English culture you use the English version of the Hebrew name Yosef: Joe or Josepth. If you are in a Spanish culture you would use Jose. Neither is wrong or right. But the culture determines which is more appropriate.

If you prefer to refer to God's Son by his Hebrew name, good for you. Just bear in mind that it does not bring you any closer in your understanding of who he is, though you may feel that you have superior insight to those dolts who call him Jesus.

I chose to use the name Yausha for the simple fact that Zec 6:10-13 lets me know his name was not jesus. I use the Hebrew name becuase we are to follow Yahuah. If Yahuah syas this is his name and man says that his name is jesus.........sorry but i will follow Yah at all times.

Really you know what Acts 4:12 There is one king and if look in Hebrew Strongs concordance you will see that shua does not mean salvation it means to cry out for help and wealth and it has another meaning I am not addressing it. It is opposite of Messiah. Don't you know there is a Porno star by name of yahshua that is it important to research and use the tools given from above. It is okay because he does not know better he is in the world. Anyone uses yahusha it any wickedness of any kind yahuah wrath will be upon thee. Yahusha paid the price for our sins. It is okay to use even though it is mentioned twice in Hebrew Strongs concordance. I live it to someone
That knows word and address it probably
